(york) When they met they could see their love would become a casual-fuckin'-tee of bad timing and 'never-minding' but until then they'll scream and sing this stupid fucking song whoah oh oh oh yeah they will sing whoah oh oh oh their hearts will ring burdened causes baited pauses too much too soon too much to do it's left them stalling for one last fallin' it's got them clawing but until then they'll scream and sing this stupid fucking song whoah oh oh oh too much too soon whoah oh oh oh too much to do whoah oh oh oh yeah they will sing whoah oh oh oh their hearts will ring

(sarah lauren) I could be the wax and you could be my needle Get you down in the grooves of a pretty little single Don’t play me like the girls waiting for you at home I’ll hop on the train and leave you all alone The clock strikes 12 and I’m ready to go Don’t leave me stranded here on the dance floor The tango is a little dance that’s made for two I hope I’ll be spinning round with you The Chevy’s busted up and I need a ride Your Ford can’t be bothered to take a little drive Stuck here for another hour, maybe two Let’s wish on the moon like we use to do The stars are fading out and are waving us good bye The sun sneaks around with some whiskey and rye This needle found a home in a new little groove I hope I’ll keep spinning round with you Yeah, I hope I’ll keep spinning round with you Yeah, I hope I’ll keep spinning round with you

(york) You asked me if it was worth “one last try” I looked at you as if, ‘Why fucking not?’ But you turned it back, yeah you turned it back on me I said, “Ah, I still believe” Hoping that maybe just maybe you’ll stay I know I have made it so complicated But I’m struggling you see I’m struggling just to say That ‘I still believe’ Turning to Turner when times get so low I don’t think I have many miles left to go That’s alright That’s alright by me Because I still believe “I have been drunk now for over two weeks I passed out and rallied and sprung a few leaks” Oh but I miss every one, said I miss every one of them But I still believe Yeah I still believe

(york) 17 in art class listening to the Pistols, Damned and The Clash when this rude boy threatened to kick my ass about a rumor he'd heard from my past He said "Punks don't go to prom!" Oi! Oi! Oi! I know I'm doing it wrong Oi! Oi! Oi! it shoulda been a better song Oi! Oi! Oi! but punks don't go to prom Next year came, it came and went and once again, I was tempted but I thought about what crustie would say or that guy from the Dead Kennedys They'd say,"Punks don't go to prom!" Oi! Oi! Oi! I know I'm doing it wrong Oi! Oi! Oi! it shoulda been a better song Oi! Oi! Oi! but punks don't go to prom This song 'needs a third verse', I'm told here's hoping that it doesn't get old if it does you know it's Sarah's fault i bet that asshole went to prom I said, "Punks don't go to prom!" Oi! Oi! Oi! I know you're doing it wrong Oi! Oi! Oi! yeah, it shoulda been a better song Oi! Oi! Oi! but punks don't go to prom (repeat once more a cappella for added awkwardness!)
